Inspiration can readily be found in visible success, yet for me, it lies far beneath the surface.
I am inspired by people who have gotten down to their last $100 and somehow managed to put one foot in front of the next and dig themselves out of deep, dark holes.
I am impressed by those who have climbed out of dysfunctional relationships and said: “That’s not my life story; I am going to write something else.”
I enjoy the company of people who invest heavily in themselves through any number of methods, perhaps by having a healthy relationship with money,
or exercising, or creating uncomplicated solutions to life’s problems,
or networking to land that coveted job, or meditating to calm a scattered mind,
or getting academic certifications, eating healthily, listening to life-hacking podcasts, engaging in entrepreneurship, and picking themselves up after getting rejected.
I also draw inspiration from those who are leaning into their spirituality, prioritizing their values, or managing to live every minute while dealing with health issues.
Finally, I get my energy from all of these people who are willing to share their unique perspectives to help other human beings.
